The Fairey Bulldog Heavy Duty Harbour Craft was a round bilge GRP hull specially stiffened to resist damage in hard commercial environments.

It had a small cabin forward which provided berths for two crew plus toilet and cooking facilities.

A spacious wheelhouse afford shelter from the weather and the 120HP diesel engine was contained in a large box in the cockpit.

A maximum continuous speed of 12 knots was achievable. (14 knots intermittent) and a range of around 120nm.
